Gd Goenka Rohini Sec 9 Holiday Homework Assignments

From the Principal's Desk

“Weak men wait for opportunities; strong men make them.”

Welcome to the gurukul where the team of dedicated professionals welcome each child with open arms, warmth and a keen desire to work with them on them and for them.
There is a revolution all around, including the educational arena as well. We are surrounded by robust technology. India has already emerged as a cashless but a digitally aware society . There’s no escape from Machine learning, hence along with it come the challenges as well.
How prepared are we? Are we equipped to take on these challenges and see our Goenkans forge ahead?
The answer is ‘Yes’. At
GD Goenka Rohini, Sector-9, we are. With the emerging changes the pressure is building up , we need to stay focused and ensure that we are physically present in the lives of our children. They should feel us, feel that presence in order to remain focussed. The quality time that we spend with them, impacts their life to a great extent.
The school and the Home needs to work in unison to ensure that we are instilling in them the sense of pride and belongingness. They will recognize and acknowledge the presence of the well-wishers when they witness the school and parents having the same objectives. When they understand both mean well for them, they become confident, can handle situations because they smell and feel the sense of security.
Dear parents, let’s join hands in providing our children with nothing but the best . Let’s strive for excellence and stretch ourselves beyond the Comfort Zone… to give back to the society, individuals, who are upright, grounded, sincere and clear in their vision.
Be a part of our Goenkan endeavour of achieving excellence always.

"If my school was a shape I would take a prism , then you can shine through it and see all the colors of CHILDHOOD "

No feeling is permanent. There is constant oscillation between the positive and the negative. The canvas of school life is full of diverse hues of expressions and emotions. Amidst this diversity we strive to understand and mould the child to develop multiple intelligence.

Raising and chiseling a thinking child is balancing enquiry with the advocacy which helps the child climb up the ladder of influence with its own thinking process. To achieve this, instead of transmitting the skills and values, we follow the generative model where learning is both about content and process. The retention and understanding thus paves way for value based quality education.

Let us together create pathways for our children connecting local to global.
